The Bitcoin block halving came and went as expected and was overall anticlimactic except perhaps for the message embedded into the 1st block after the halving: “NYTimes 09/Apr/2020 With $2.3T Injection, Fed’s Plan Far Exceeds 2008 Rescue”. This was a homage to Satoshi’s original message in the 1st block, block 0 the genesis block, which read: “The Times 03/Jan/2009 Chancellor on brink of second bailout for banks”.
